Sidewalks Along Eastex Freeway

Lynn Hardeway, who must use a motorized wheelchair to get around, is grateful for construction of a sidewalk from French Road to East Lucas Drive along the Eastex Freeway service road. It will help keep him safe instead of venturing into traffic lanes to get to stores. A Brystar Contracting crew is building the sidewalk for TxDOT.

Cyclists Ride in Silence in Remembrance of Riders Killed on Public Roads

Bicyclists ride along Major Drive on Wednesday in remembrance of riders killed on public roads. This year is the 10th anniversary of the international observance in which the cyclists ride silently.
