Think Pink Campaign Launched at The Beaumont Enterprise

  • The Beaumont Enterprise staff and representatives from the Julie Rogers ‘Gift of Life’ Program launched the newspaper’s Think Pink campaign on Monday with a visit from fitness guru Richard Simmons. (Well, a cardboard cutout of Simmons that is.) This is the third year that The Enterprise has partnered with the nonprofit program to raise funds and awareness about breast and ovarian cancers. To date, The Enterprise has donated $21,000 to the ‘Gift of Life’ to help provide free mammograms to underserved Southeast Texas women. This year, The Enterprise will again raise funds for the program through advertising and street sales of the Sept. 30 newspaper.
