Tree Placed on Uncompleted Victory Medical Center

Felipe Lopez helps Michael Vassar, behind tree, install a Christmas tree on top of the uncompleted Victory Medical Center in Beaumont on Thursday. As part of a construction tradition, a tree is placed on the last beam installed in a building during the holidays. Work on the $21 million structure is expected to be done in the spring.
