Walker Fined, Can Keep Job at BISD

Calvin Walker walks out of the Jack Brooks Federal Courthouse Wednesday after a judge sentenced him to five years probation, $660,000 in IRS restitution and the 37 criminal charges he faced were dropped. Walker will also be allowed to continue working for Beaumont ISD and the City of Port Arthur. Walker admitted in July to failing to pay federal income tax in a timely manner.
