Red snapper Season

A very short recreational red snapper season opens Sunday along the Gulf Coast. The limit in federal waters, past nine nautical miles, is two-per-day with a 16-inch minimum length limit. For the time being, it looks like the Gulf will be calm enough for offshore fishing.
